What's Up In AV?

Over the last few months, especially since Christmas, the AV Department has gotten numerous requests to start circulating Sony PSP Games (Playstation Portable).  We are always listening to what our customers want and so Arlene Sandner, one of our Children's Department librarians, is going to begin purchasing them shortly.  We hope to have them circulating no later than the first week in May.

I am now buying more copies of our most popular titles in response to ever-increasing numbers of holds on them. Do you know about our "no holds" DVD section?  We have put aside copies of each movie title and designated them as "no holds." This means that they cannot be reserved and so they never sit on our reserve shelf waiting to be picked up.  Always check this special display before you leave.  The movie you have been waiting to see just might be "waiting" for you to pick it up while you are here.
