Every Tuesday, when our new DVD releases are put out, there is always a huge demand by our customers to reserve these titles. Our Audiovisual Department however, has many wonderful "classic" movies that can rival any of today's new releases.
Many of us have watched Humphrey Bogart in the movie Casablanca. But have you also seen some of his other movies such as The Caine Mutiny, The Maltese Falcon, or The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. These movies were released in 1954, 1941 and 1948 respectively. They have stood up to the test of time and can provide many hours of viewing enjoyment. How about trying Mutiny on the Bounty with Marlon Brando or Man In the Grey Flannel Suit with Gregory Peck. Try also 12 Angry Men with Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb.
Wintertime is fast approaching. So on one of those cold, snowy days that we are sure to have, why not curl up in front of the TV with a cup of hot chocolate and some of the library's, and the film industry's, best and oldest classics.
