Robert Munsch was born on June 11, 1945 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and grew up in a family with nine kids. Although he struggled in school, he enjoyed writing poetry since elementary school. While studying to become a Jesuit priest, he worked in an orphange, where he discovered his love for working with children. Munsch later decided not to become a priest but continued to work with children in a day care. It was there that he developed his talents for storytelling. Munsch now lives in Canada with his wife and has published over 50 books, including the best selling title, LOVE YOU FOREVER. Learn more about Robert Munsch and his books at robertmunsch.com .
