As the school year comes to end, families are excited about relaxing, sleeping in, camp, and vacations away from home.  But before you get too caught up in those lazy days, you should think about summer reading.  Research has shown that      

“… the best predictor of summer loss or summer gain is whether or not a child reads during the summer." 

Just log onto the Clarkstown Central School District website to find the list of recommended book titles by grade.  Then come into the library and look for the SUMMER READING LIST bookcase.  We have pulled and labeled the books for you!  If you are looking for a free choice title, check out some our newest offerings, including:
