Museum Passes
Rules:

The New City Library will loan passes to Clarkstown residents with a valid adult library card. | |

The loan period is for 2 nights. | |

Advanced reservations are not accepted, however, you may call in the morning to hold a pass for that day. It will be held that day until 30 minutes before closing. | |
|
The overdue fines are $10 per day. | |
|
You may only reserve one pass a day and one per family. |

The Museum of
Natural History (2 adults and 4 children) - The museum presents large
scale, interactive exhibits, programs, shows and IMAX movies aimed at
increasing general knowledge about human cultures, the natural world and the
universe. Located in Manhattan at 79th Street and Central Park West
(across from the New York Historical Society and Central Park), the museum
offers so much to see and do that it is sometimes hard to take it all in.

Museum of
Television & Radio (2 adults and 5 children) - It has over 120,000
programs and advertisements, covering more than 85 years of television and
radio history. It explores the cultural, creative and social
significance of the media. In the museum library visitors choose a
program from the collection then watch or listen to it at a console.

Botanical Gardens (2 adults and 5 children) - Find an "ecotour" of the
world, an innovative indoor/outdoor science museum for children and 50
exquisite gardens and plant collections. The museum is alive with
opportunities for discovery. It is located in the Bronx on 250 acres.

NYC Fire
Department Museum (1 adult and 1 guest) - One of the nation's most
important collections of fire-related art and artifacts from the late 18th
century to the present can be found at this museum. Located in a
renovated 1904 firehouse in the SoHo district of Manhattan visitors will
find striking examples of elaborate hand-drawn and hand-pumped engines,
including a piano box style engine, a goose neck pumper and a double-decker
Philadelphia-style engine which was at the Statue of Liberty. Webpage:

Hudson Highlands (2 adults and 1 child) - Located where the river cuts through the Appalachian plateau, in Cornwall-on-the-Hudson. It is in an area of dramatic natural beauty, geographical diversity and historical interest. The museum operates two facilities, one at the Boulevard and one at Kenridge Farm.
